We at OpenSooq are looking to hire an Accountant to join our finance team in Amman. Your responsibilities are: - Record of expenses and sales revenue journal entries - Prepare bank reconciliations - Prepare some ad hoc financial reports (budget, financial statements, internal managerial reports, etc) when needed - Review the journal entries - Help in preparing or reviewing the policies and procedures - Support in monthly, quarterly and yearly closing - Take initiatives in improving accounting operations, processes or systems - Help in preparing payroll and ensure payments are prepared and executed on a timely base - Any other duties as requested The profile we are looking for: - Experience of 1 to 2 years in the field of accounting - Excellent cash flow handling skills - Very good communication skills - Strong organisational skills and team player - Strong customer focused - Knowledge using QuickBooks or any other accounting tools - Good Arabic and English communication skills If you are interested or know someone who is interested, please apply to: careers@opensooq.com
