1-  Policy, Influencing and Media Manager (INT5386)

Job Purpose

As a member of the Jordan Country Programme , the Policy, Influencing and Media Manager leads Oxfam’s policy and influencing work in Jordan, ensuring that the country programme develops and delivers a coherent policy and influencing strategy, built on pro
gramming, cognisant of risk and relevance to the country context.
The Influencing Team covers policy, research, advocacy, media and communications with the Oxfam Country Programme in Jordan. We work in close collaboration with programme teams to deliver high quality and high impact programming; and leverage our impact through influencing/advocacy in collaboration with our local partners and allies.
About the MENA region
The MENA (Middle East and North Africa) region implements and manages programmes in Yemen, Occupied Palestinian Territories, Lebanon, Syria, Iraq, and Jordan.
Programmes within the MENA region reflect Oxfam’s approach to work across the globe. We support self-reliance, not dependency, and to complement our work on the ground we strive to secure lasting change through our campaigning.

2- CALP MENA Regional Programme Manager (INT5421)

The Role
This position is responsible for the operational planning and delivery of CaLP’s activities in the Middle East region. These include training activities, research and knowledge management, support to coordination, and policy engagement. S/he will support development of CaLP’s operational presence in Amman, Jordan, within one or more host organisations, and will manage CaLP’s activities funded in the region. S/he will also be expected to build strategic relationships with a wide range of actors, including: UN agencies, government, think tanks, academic institutions and NGOs, and to represent CaLP in regional fora.
CaLP is the global partnership for cash transfer programming in humanitarian aid. We are a catalyst for accelerating change in the scale and quality of cash transfer programming. We enable the collaboration necessary to develop practical solutions to collective problems in the sector. Since our founding in 2005, CaLP has been at the forefront of promoting and improving cash transfer programming across the humanitarian sector. We have recently refreshed our global strategy and are at an exciting moment, poised to help humanitarian agencies deliver on their major commitments on cash.

Useful Information 
Contract Length: 12 months (Subject to extension). 
Benefits: Oxfam offers staff a comprehensive benefits package including annual leave entitlements, sick pay provision, medical cover plus opportunities for learning and development.
