1- Schools Relationship Manager

The British Council is the UK’s international agent for cultural relations and educational opportunities. We provide a professional, international, ethical and friendly working environment and we are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic individual to join its team of Exams.
The British Council Jordan Examinations Services is responsible for managing the delivery and growth of most of the British qualifications delivered in Jordan. Within the School Examinations operation, we enjoy a protocol agreement with three UK Examining boards and the Ministry of Education in Jordan, in which we are responsible for managing the delivery of all UK International Curriculum examinations and accountable for maintaining the integrity and quality of the private schools’ system delivering the UK International Curriculum.
The role purpose is to plan and implement a strategy for delivering an outstanding management of the UK International Curriculum to all Jordanian schools which adopt the programme.
To create value for the Jordanian Ministries of Education and Higher Education, UK Boards and attached schools by implementing a robust quality assurance regime for school Exams, thereby assuring the continuation and strengthening of the Protocol which allows us to exclusively manage the UK school exams in Jordan. 
To increase the number of schools licensed to deliver the UK International Curriculum and to strengthen relationship with all attached schools to maximise candidatures.

3-  English and Professional Qualifications Manager

The British Council is the UK’s international agent for cultural relations and educational opportunities. We provide a professional, international, ethical and friendly working environment and we are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic individual to join its team of Exams.
The British Council Jordan Examinations Services is responsible for managing the delivery and growth of most of the British qualifications delivered in Jordan. This job sits within the management of the Examinations Services team in Jordan/MENA. This role reports to Country Exams Manager and will be responsible for managing English and Professional Qualifications. This post is part of five team members dedicated for English and Professional Qualifications. He/she should be working very closely with the whole exam team to ensure an efficient implementation of English and Professional in Jordan. Excellent customer and client service and effective and secure exams delivery are essential to continued growth of the business.
The role purpose is To be responsible for the effective delivery of Jordan’s UK exams (IELTS, ESOL, Professional and Educational) in line with exams quality standards and Examination Boards requirements to meet the agreed financial and quality targets, and contribute to the local and regional objectives

4-  English Language Teaching and Student Support

The British Council is the UK’s international agent for cultural relations and educational
opportunities. We provide a professional, international, ethical and friendly working
environment and we are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic individual to join its
team of Teaching Centre.
The British Council began working in Jordan in 1948 and has occupied the same premises in
Amman since 1958. As such, it is very much part of the landscape of the city with an
established reputation for high-quality English language teaching.



Purpose of the job:

  •  To promote and ensure quality teaching and effective learning of English.
  •  To provide operational and additional support to teachers and the Social Event Coordinator to facilitate the events calendar and social programme for Adults and Young Learners.
  •  To provide support services for Teaching Centre and Examination customers using the Study Support Centre facilities in terms of information, learner support, guidance to using resources and managing relevant marketing activities to support the Teaching Centre and Examination service’s agenda according to assigned plans.
  • To produce internal marketing material to promote the Social Events and Online programmes.
  • To collect and report feedback from customers.
