JOB SUMMARY
Child protection is the prevention of and response to abuse, neglect, exploitation and violence against children. Child protection case management is the process of helping individual children and families through direct social-work-type support, and managing information well. Within child protection case management, there should be appropriate involvement of children throughout the process, as well as full consideration of the best interests of the child.
The role of Child Protection Case Manager is to promote quality and effective outcomes through communication and the provision of appropriate resources to meet an individual child’s needs. The process includes comprehensive assessment, planning, implementation, coordination, monitoring and overall evaluation of individual children’s needs.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Apply guiding principles in working with children, being guided by the best interest of the child in all actions at all times.
  • Familiarity with child development and children’s wellbeing
  • Communicate and work effectively and appropriately with children of various ages and their families, including those who have experienced very difficult situations
  • Assess risks, needs and strengths and develop the appropriate response in consultation with the child and/or his caregiver(s)
  • Collaborate with clients to plan, implement, monitor, and amend individualized services that promote clients’ strengths, advance clients’ wellbeing, and help clients achieve their goals. Plans shall be based on meaningful assessments and shall have specific attainable, measurable objectives.
  • Work with children, families and carers to implement the actions determined through planning to bring about the changes necessary to ensure the safety, stability and development of the child. This includes directly guiding, encouraging and supporting the child and family while monitoring impacts and outcomes
  • Conduct safety planning with clients, working in collaboration with the client’s family (if/when appropriate) and other agencies to manage the identified risks
  • Be the contact point for needs assessment and follow up
  • Provide and coordinate services and follow-up of service provision
  • Lead or participate in case conferences and family meetings with other professionals
  • Document all case management activities in the appropriate client record in a timely manner, using the CPIMS+ as a database and case management tool
  • Advocate for the rights, decisions, strengths, and needs of children and families and promote their access to resources, supports, and services
  • Promote collaboration among colleagues and organizations to enhance service delivery and facilitate client goal attainment.
  • Provide and facilitate access of the client to culturally sensitive and competent services
  • Evaluate client satisfaction and quality of care provided
  • Ensure involvement of local authorities, community leaders, and community groups in creating community based protection mechanisms
  • Provide regular updates and reports to senior management staff as required; contribute to donor reports and internal IMC reports as required
  • Perform other job-related duties as requested by Supervisor.

Qualifications and experience:
  • Bachelor Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, Social Science or related field
  • Work experience in a relevant field is desired

Scope of Work:
  • Operate switchboard and direct potential clients to relevant departments and take notes if needed.
  • Download e-mails sent to IMC Office e-mail address and submit them to the appropriate department or employee as well as receive and deliver personal mail to employees.
  • Record, file and track all outgoing and incoming correspondence and hand in copies to the appropriate department or employee on a daily basis.
  • Organize pouch delivers to Headquarters/Field Offices as well as keep track of records.
  • Assist in translating documents from Arabic to English and vice versa.
  • Assist Administrative Manager and Administrative Officer in overseeing maintenance and cleanliness of IMC Jordan offices.
  • Assist in providing appropriate workstations and necessary stationery to visiting employees and guests.
  • Backup person during the administrative officer absence,
  • Support the supervisor in case of absence in all issues related to expat’s work permits, residency cards and visas for IMC Jordan.
  • In Absence of Supervisor, follow up and support on all admin issues is required.
  • Support Procurement Department in receiving tenders
Qualifications Required:
  • University Degree or Diploma and a one year experience.
  • Good level of English language
  • High level of communication skills

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Scope of Work:
  • Track phone call bills and ensure that all personal calls are reimbursed by employees as well as records are submitted to the Finance Department in a timely manner.
  • Responsible for coordinating meeting room bookings and assist in arranging meetings with donors, non-governmental organizations, trainings and government officials for IMC’s employees and visitors when requested and insure preparedness of meeting room as needed,
  • Record, file and track all outgoing and incoming correspondence and hand in copies to the appropriate department or employee on a daily basis.
  • Organize pouch delivers to Headquarters/Field Offices as well as keep track of records.
  • Assist in translating documents from Arabic to English and vice versa.
  • Assist Administrative Manager and Administrative Officer in overseeing maintenance and cleanliness of IMC Jordan offices.
  • Assist in preparing, proofreading and editing correspondence, spreadsheets and reports as requested.
  • Assist in providing appropriate workstations and necessary stationery to visiting employees and guests.
  • Assist in organizing the office layout and in maintaining supplies of stationery and equipment.
  • Arrange social activities for the office.
  • Backup person during the administrative officer absence,
  • Prepare official letters to Ministry Of Social Development, Ministry Of Interior, Police Station and any other governmental and nongovernmental institutions.
  • Responsible for preparing PRs related to any inquired materials to the office and guest houses in addition to contacting suppliers and buying the materials, checking after goods are received and sending the bills to the finance department.
  • Support the supervisor in case of absence in all issues related to expat’s work permits, residency cards and visas for IMC Jordan.
  • Visiting Ministries when asked by the supervisor.
  • Follow up on Expat’s guest houses lease agreement and preparing inventory list.
  • Responsible for IMC’s store and keep track of all items get in and out of the store in addition to keep track of all stationary.
  • Issuing ID badges for all Staff upon renewing their contract.
  • Follow up and prepare attendance reports upon HR department request.
  • Support HR team in phone screening and interviews arrangement.
  • In Absence of Supervisor, follow up and support on all admin issues is required.
