Given the very limited capacities of the current Border Guard Forces facilities in Ruwaishid, this hub will constitute a multi-agency logistical and administrative center. It will serve as a much needed rear support base both to the Karamah-Trebil border crossing point and to the overall Eastern border control system and operations.
Job description
The Project Coordinator will have the following responsibilities:
• Technical coordination of the project throughout the different components (infrastructure, capacity building) as well as the preparation and the organization of the activities in close coordination with national authorities (both civilian and non-civilian), the EUD in Amman, and when needed in Beirut
• Support, accompany and manage the team and partners in the planning, implementation, monitoring, evaluation and learning of the activities
• Ensure compliance with EF guidelines, policies and procedures at all stages of program implementation
• Ensure proper and timely financial and narrative donor reporting in compliance with internal and external reporting requirements
• Prepare briefings and background information when requested by HQ and other entities
• Maintain a good level of communication with any relevant stakeholders and dialogue with all relevant actors involved in the area
• Be in charge of the communication and visibility of the project by promoting the actions as per the communication plan.
Degrees & Qualifications
• University diploma (master level of equivalent) in law, political sciences, public administration and/or international relations 
• Excellent, proven organizational and project management skills, preferably in a multi-cultural and international environment 
• Capacity to establish effective working relations with Jordan public institutions and non-state actors including at senior level and to ensure an efficient co-operation with the EU Delegation
Requirements
• At least 5-6 years of professional experience
• Proven capacity in team management and ability to security management 
• Good command of program and project management life cycle including strategic planning, development, management, monitoring and evaluation
• Excellent communication skills ability to adapt to a diverse multicultural environment
• Knowledge of EF procedures is a plus
• Diplomacy, patience and rigor
• Good interpersonal skills
• Proven experience in drafting institutional documents and reports
• Ability to work under pressure
• Fluency in French & English, Arabic is an asset

Job description
Under the responsibility of the Field Project Coordinator, the Reporting and Monitoring & Evaluation Officer tasks will be to:
• Design reporting formats 
• Contribute to project reporting by consolidating data regarding progress toward project indicators
• Create and update trackers, Indicator Progress, and Dashboards
• Support the Project Coordinator to prepare timely project and donor reports (bimonthly, QR and annual reports) in compliance with internal requirements 
• Liaise with partners to conduct M&E activities including meeting or contacting beneficiaries when needed for any kind of assessment and/ or evaluation
• Conduct field visits to the project to perform data collection, and use monitoring tools
• Any other task assigned by the Project Coordinator 
Degrees & Qualifications
• Master degree in a directly related field (Business administration, development studies, sociology, statistics, etc.)
• At least 2-3 years of previous experience 
• Experience with a local or international NGO/IGO is a plus.
• Proficiency in the use of MS Excel 
• Ability to work in partnership with government and development partners
• Good interpersonal skills
• Independence, adaptability and flexibility
• Excellent communication skills 
Requirements
• Experience in conducting surveys, assessments, monitoring & evaluation activities.
• Good reporting skills. 
• Ability to organize and work independently and within a team
• Advanced level of using assisting software packages like MS Word & MS Excel
• Familiarity with data collection and monitoring and evaluation tools
• Excellent command in English and Arabic, French is an advantage
• Understanding of financial management systems and tools
• Project management, communication and problem-solving skills

Job description
Under the responsibility of the Field Project Coordinator, the Administrative Associate tasks will be to:
• Smooth functions of reception, handling phone calls and guests with high level of professionalism.
• Organize proper filling and classification of documents
• Provide specialized administrative actions and processes (e.g. translate, type, proof read, and/or format documents; record and transcribe meeting minutes; draft simple correspondence messages etc.)
• Compile data, perform data entry and data verification in relation to general administration processes (e.g. contact lists, employee leave balances, staff attendance reports, visitors, etc.)
• Contract submission, document preparation for payments, vendor contacts, preparation of event budgets 
• Assist in coordinating project expenditures and disbursements following approval from the Project Coordinator
• Manage petty cash and prepare payment request related to domestic travels, stationery, office supplies etc.
• Schedule and coordinate appointments. 
• Provide logistical and communication support to event planning activities.
• Provide proper guidance and supervision to suppliers for ensuring the cleanliness and hygiene in the office premises
• Any other task assigned by the Project Coordinator 
Degrees & Qualifications
• Bachelor degree in a directly related field
• Three-four years’ experience working in an office environment in a clerical or administrative role 
• Experience with a local or international NGO/IGO is a plus
• Additional education may substitute for some experience.
Requirements
• Experience with typing/word processing, data entry into online databases and forms, and working with various office equipment
• Experience in MS Office package (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) and information management systems
• High organizational skills
• Ability to integrate Expertise France rules and regulations

Job description
Under the supervision of the Field Project Coordinator, the Infrastructure Expert is in charge of the feasibility studies, the conception and planning phases and assists in the selection of contractors. He will also follow up and supervise the works execution and the acceptance of the works. 
He will act as the Prime Contractor. His tasks will include – but are not limited to – the following:
• Leading technical assessments and adjusting feasibility studies and plans in coordination with the beneficiary
• Coordinating with the Partners for the design 
• Making sure that the plans suggested are reliable on the technical side, at a reasonable price and respect environmental and legal frameworks
• Preparing the detailed working plan of all the activities and the matrix of the information, workflow and coordination between the different stakeholders
• Implementing a dashboard: planning, budget monitoring, progress of works, expenses, readjustment in case of failures, etc.
• Analyzing potential risks regarding the infrastructure component
• Preparing tender files : TORs, estimated budget, technical specifications
• (Pre)-identifying potential contractors
• Participation to the selection process of contractor(s)
• Preparing and overseeing project implementation to ensure timely delivery 
• Managing Quality control 
• Supervising the foreman, based in Jordan
• Any other duties assigned by Expertise France or the EU Delegation.
Degrees & Qualifications
• Minimum Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural or Architectural Engineering or related discipline
• Fluency in French
• Excellent verbal and written English
Requirements
• At least 15 years of relevant experience (Engineering/Infrastructure)

Job description
Under the supervision of the Infrastructure Expert and the Field Project Coordinator, the Works Construction Engineer is responsible for the day-to-day management of the works in the field and the relationships with contractors. S/He will oversee the day to day management & supervision, ensuring the overall efficiency & effectiveness of processes & activities undertaken to achieve timely delivery of infrastructures.
The responsibilities include the following: 
• Support the Team in all tender exercises for the procurement of construction services:
o in coordination with the Infrastructure Expert receipt, review and development of comments to contractor’s technical submittals
o in coordination with the Infrastructure Expert, receipt, review and development of comments to contractor’s construction methodology, work plan, alternatives, working drawings and any other subjects related to the contract
• Coordinate site handover and procedures with relevant parties
• Schedule and conduct progress meetings at which Contractors and the Engineer can discuss jointly such matters as procedures, progress, problems and programming, record and distribute notes reflecting decisions on issues raised
• Manage all claims, activities and provide expert advice
• Construction, compliance and quality supervision and management of the works including all related activities and tasks
• Monitor the implementation of engineering work to be at high level 
• Monitor & evaluate performance of service providers/contractors. 
• Identify & manage risks & initiate corrective action where necessary
• Preparation of the estimated budget for the implementation of any stage of project upon request, the detailed work plan & supervision of time-frame 
• Final inspection to include quality assurance and compliance with all technical specifications, engineering drawings, etc.
• Prepare the contractor's payment reports
• Prepare activity/progress reports related to the infrastructure component
• Prepare the final handover reports
• Any other duties assigned by Expertise France or the EU Delegation.
Degrees & Qualifications
• MSc or BSc degree in civil engineering, construction management, and/or other related fields, or solid and demonstrated practical experience in relevant fields
• Experience in working in complex environments & large infrastructure &/or civil works, particularly in the field of construction, technical project documentation development as well as construction supervision.
• Excellent verbal and written English
• Fluency in Arabic
