The French section of Médecins Sans Frontières is recruiting for its project in Amman Registered Medicines Dispenser

CONTEXT
Médecins Sans Frontières is a private, non-profit international humanitarian organization dedicated to providing medical assistance to populations in crisis, without discrimination and regardless of race, religion, creed or political affiliation. Médecins Sans Frontières is running a reconstructive surgery program in Amman and is seeking a Registered Medicines Dispenser.

  • The dispenser is in charge of providing an accurate, timely, and qualitative dispensing service of drugs for OPD and IPD patients.
  • Responsible for medication and consumable dispensing in OPD and IPD.
  • Responsible for Stock management and narcotics, reporting any loses or changes, and expiry dates.
  • Perform weekly inventory for the stock, and when needed.
  • Is responsible of the good condition of the stock (physical premises) and shelves.
PROFILE
  • Degree of Pharmacy assistant/ pharmacist
  • MOH license to work in Jordan is required
  • Working experience of at least 6 months is essential
  • Fluency in Arabic and English
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • The ability and willingness both to work independently and to work as part of a team
  • Organized, time management and presentation skills, able to learn quickly
  • Knowledge of MS Office
  • Able to work under pressure
WORK LOCATION:          Amman
CONTRACT:                      Fixed term contract – Full Time – 6 months
Probable start date:      As soon as possible
