A leading manufacturing company in Amman is looking for HSE manager with the following qualifications:
- BSc. Degree in Firefighting , Safety Engineering, or equivalent degree
- 3-5 years’ experience as Health and safety as a manager
- Certification and accreditation is a plus:
NEBOSH (National Examination Board in Occupational Safety and Health)
IOSH (International Occupation Safety and Health)
ISO accredited body
PECB (Professional evaluation Certification Board/Canada) certified body
NASP (National Association for Safety Professional) Certified Trainer
MOL Certified Specialist and Certified Trainer
In his / her occupation he / she will be responsible for the following:
1.Monitors the effective implementation of appropriate Safety and Environment Systems procedures and provide for their updating in line with changes in Legislation.
2.Ensures, in accordance with the corporate guidelines, the implementation, updating, review and auditing of the Company HSE Systems.
3.Ensure that all Company personnel understand the importance of complying with Company safety system procedures and all Safety equipment provided.
4.Conducts internal safety audits and provide management with the Audit findings
5.Takes part in accident / incident investigation.
6.Carries out analysis of accident / incident statistics, identifying trends and suggesting improvement plans.
7.Provides technical support to Senior Management on any safety related subjects.
8.Design annual safety training plan.
9.Carries out safety audits on Sub-contractors & suppliers
10.Participates to HAZOP meetings prior to procurement and installation activities.
11.Performs Risk Assessment.
12.Provides Safety support and advice, including supervision on preparation of plans and procedures for initial contract start up activities.
13.Supports the Top Management in the HSE Policy and Guidelines issue.
14.Supports the Top Management in the Organization roles and responsibilities definition, for what concerns safety aspects.
15.Supports the Top Management in the HSE Management System standard issue
