Executive & Technical Duties
- Overseeing and coordinating daily warehouse activities such as receiving and storing finished products.
- Optimizing warehousing processes (storing & loading) as an effective team leader.
- Managing inventory levels, ensuring the efficient delivery of goods, supervising staff, and securing the warehouses.
- Responsible for full implementation of the procedures regarding product preservation as quality and quantity during loading and storing processes.
- Efficiently supervise the loading of all trucks and containers.
- Communicating and coordinating with other departments and customers.
- Managing and modeling the safety culture and strive for 100% compliance concerning safety policies and procedures.
- Direct the daily housekeeping and maintaining the workplace clean, tidy and in excellent conditions to ensure good housekeeping of the work area.
- Maintaining records, reporting relevant information, and preparing any necessary documentation.
- Ensuring basic maintenance standards and compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Performing a daily inspection of the warehouse’s grounds, loaders, and equipment.
- Working closely with internal management to execute all planned programs.
- Adhering to all policies and procedures relating to product quality & quantity.
- Maintaining and control warehouse inventory to keep shrink at acceptable level.
- Training and supervising a staff of warehouse personnel
- Performing any duties related to his job as assigned by superintendent.
Skills
Job requirements
- B.sc in Chemical / Mining engineering
- Age less than 35 years
- Minimum of 7 to 10 years’ experience in supervising & leading people in the field of chemical industries
- Strong working knowledge of warehouse`s operations and management
- Must have strong leadership, communication, and organizational & customer service skills
- Should have good PC knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint as well as basic math skills
- Must be self-motivated with a high degree of integrity & be able to perform job duties with minimal supervision on a timely basis
- Excellent reading, writing, and speaking in English
- Excellent problem-solving skills & ability to prioritize and complete multiple tasks
- Effective communication skills, both orally and in writing
- Strong collaboration and teamwork skills
- Teamwork and must be able to respond to off hour emergencies
- Excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to work as part of a team
- Cooperate, collaborate, and work towards common goals with others
- Working in shifts system.
- The successful candidate has to be a non-smoker.
